Chery decided to bring the iCaur brand to the British market: start in 2026.

Chinese automaker Chery announced the imminent launch of the iCAR brand in the UK market, where the equipment will be presented under the new name iCaur. The name change is due to the need to avoid overlapping with the trademark of the American company Apple.
The start in the British market will begin with the V23 model - this is a compact electric SUV with all-wheel drive, a capacity of 208 horsepower and a range of up to 500 kilometers. By the end of 2026, an elongated version called V25 will also appear, equipped with a hybrid installation and a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine.

In addition, by 2027, it is planned to release a compact V21, which should compete with the Jeep Avenger, and a large V29 SUV has also been announced. However, it is not yet clear whether the latest model will arrive in Britain.
Chery is actively expanding its presence outside of China and is going to open two thousand dealerships in a hundred countries within three years. Already, in the United Kingdom, cars of this manufacturer are sold under the Omoda and Jaecoo brands, and in the first three months of 2025, Chery overtook such well-known brands as Suzuki, Jeep and Fiat in sales.
