The mid-size pickup truck received a popular engine from the Mustang GT.
Check out this crazy Ford Ranger Raptor R with a supercharged V8. Australian studio Killa Conversions and Performance has implemented an unusual project:

a small truck was equipped with an infernal 5.0-liter engine! The basis was a Ford Ranger Raptor with a V6 EcoBoost, after the swap, a V8 Coyote was placed under the hood, supplemented by a Roush compressor. Of course, the matter was not limited to replacing the engine: the transmission also had to be modified.
From the factory, the Ford Ranger Raptor is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 and produces 410 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque. However, with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, the output increases to an insane 760 horsepower and 908 Nm of torque. Therefore, the transmission from the Ranger Raptor had to be replaced with a reinforced one from the F-150 Raptor.
The economic sense of the conversion in Australia is obvious, because the Ford F-150 Raptor R costs on the Green Continent from 230 thousand US dollars in equivalent, and the Ranger Raptor with a V8 cost the equivalent of 122 thousand US dollars, taking into account the work and spare parts. In absolute terms, tuning is very expensive: almost 57 thousand dollars on top of the price of the original pickup!
Interestingly, the eight-cylinder Ford Ranger Raptor does not differ from the six-cylinder analogue on the outside: the swap was implemented neatly, without external attributes. The studio is silent about the dynamics of the super pickup. However, the brakes and suspension remained standard, so for the customer, the modifications can only just begin.
