Hyundai plans to introduce its first hydrogen-powered supercar in 2026, The Korea Economic Daily reports. The project is not aimed at commercial gain, but rather demonstrates the potential and market interest in hydrogen-powered vehicles.
The harbinger of the new product was the Hyundai N Vision 74 concept. The production model will be made in a coupe body with gullwing doors and rear-wheel drive. The concept's installation power reached approximately 680 horsepower, but for a production car this figure will be increased to 775 hp. The car will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds.
Prototypes will begin testing in August of this year. Production of the Hyundai N74 model will take place from 2026 to 2028, and the total circulation will be only 200 copies. The price of each car is estimated at approximately 500 million won (about 33.16 million rubles).
