Fiat luxury electric car for the beach

The compact Fiat Topolino has been transformed into a luxury electric car for the beach.
Castagna Milano studio worked on the project of a luxury beach electric car.
In 2023, Fiat decided to revive the Topolino microcar as an electric car. The original car was produced from 1936 to 1955, and the current version is positioned as a vehicle for beach trips, journalists report.
The model, redesigned by the studio, lost its roof and pillars, instead of which a soft folding awning appeared. There are fender flares, and the rocker panels and rear deck are covered in wood panels with aluminum handles.
For those who find the basic model too small, there is a version with a rear overhang extended by 300 mm. This solution offers more luggage space. The additional space can also be used as a resting or picnic area.
The new product has a standard 8-horsepower electric motor, which is paired with a 5.4-kilowatt battery. On one charge the car can travel about 75 km. The battery will be fully charged in 4 hours.
