Haval introduced the updated Dargo SUV.
Haval, the Chinese sub-brand of the Great Wall company, showed the first official images of the restyled version of the Dagou SUV, which is known to the Russian buyer under the name Dargo. This was reported on July 14 by the AutoHome portal.
The front part of the Dargo received a new radiator grille with two large horizontal slats, the bumper and optics remained unchanged. The same cannot be said about the rear lights of the SUV, which are now connected into a single unit. The car will also receive updated wheels and body color scheme.
The SUV is delivered to the Chinese market with two versions of power plants: a one-and-a-half-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 184 hp and a two-liter engine boosted to 238 hp. The gearbox is an alternative robot with front―wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Earlier in the day, analysts reported that the Chinese crossover Haval Jolion holds the sales leadership in the crossover segment for the second month in a row. Compared to June 2022, Jolion sales in the first month of summer 2023 increased 5.7 times and amounted to 4,734 units ― this is the best result in the SUV segment.
The second place in the ranking of the best―selling crossovers and SUVs on the Russian market is occupied by Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Max - 4518 cars. Geely Coolray closes the top three with the result of 3284 cars sold ― this is four times more than in June last year.
