Serial production of the restyled version of the Aurus Senat will begin at the company’s plant in Yelabuga at the end of 2025, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation told reporters.
“Serial production of the updated Aurus will begin at the end of next year,” the ministry said, answering a related question. Aurus Senat is available in limousine and sedan versions in basic and extended versions. The first limousine in the updated version was presented at the inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation. The current First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov previously said that sales of the new product will begin in 2025.
Aurus is the first Russian luxury car brand, whose lineup includes a limousine, sedan, minivan and SUV. The main owners of the company are FSUE NAMI (63.5%) and the Arab fund Tawazun (36%), 0.5% belongs to Hit Motors Rus.

Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has launched the production of Lada Aura sedans with a black interior and a white exterior. This was reported by the Avtograd news public page on the VKontakte social network. Previously, cars of this model were produced exclusively with black exterior paint and a light interior.
According to information, new cars leave the assembly line in limited quantities for individual orders for government agencies. “The appearance of cars in white with black leather interiors likely indicates a desire among customers to have a lighter version for official use,” the report notes.
Production of the Lada Aura was launched at AvtoVAZ enterprises in April 2024. The car is intended for use as official transport by State Duma deputies and senior officials. Delivery orders were also carried out by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
The Aura model, developed on the basis of the updated Lada Vesta, has an extended body that provides an additional 25 cm of space in the rear row of seats. The sedan is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine producing 122 hp. and automatic transmission. The interior is made of Russian-made genuine leather, and a premium audio system is installed.

On the outside, the luxury Sobol NN stands out only due to its partial anti-chrome and tinting: the wheels remain standard, the wheelbase remains unchanged. But the interior has been improved: white leather and suede now dominate, the seats now have electrical adjustments, and their profile has been changed. "Luidor" changed the ceiling trim and floor covering, and added window sills with cup holders.
Unfortunately, the prices of the five-seater minivan are not publicly available and even a complete list of options is not provided. However, the original passenger Sobol NN from dealers costs from 3.7-3.8 million rubles, and equipped minivans will cost four million rubles. There is currently no alternative to the technology: Russian-Chinese 2.5-liter turbodiesel, domestic 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
