Exclusive BMW 4-Series
Exclusive BMW 4-Series from the founders of Alpina and Zagato.
Andreas and Florian Bovensiepen, owners of Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen, have announced the creation of a new car brand. After Alpina becomes part of BMW in 2026, the Bovensiepen brothers decided not to leave the car industry and founded Bovensiepen Automobile, collaborating with Zagato. The first project is already in development.

Cars under the Bovensiepen brand will now be produced in Buchloe, which will not be formally associated with BMW. The logo has been changed, and the design developed by Zagato has undergone significant changes. However, some elements are reminiscent of Alpina: the company name on the front bumper is made in a similar style and color scheme, as well as multi-spoke wheels with a unique design.
Modification of body panels and optics entails significant costs, so Bovensiepen is focusing on the premium segment, surpassing AMG. However, even Zagato could not completely hide the origin of the car: the profile suggests a BMW 4-Series. In the interior, changes affected the finishing materials, decorative elements and the visor above the dashboard.
The new body kit increased the length of the car by 17.5 centimeters, the body panels are made of carbon fiber. The power of the 3.0-liter gasoline engine has been increased to 611 horsepower and 700 Nm, which makes it more powerful than the M models.
