The successor to the Ferrari LaFerrari has debuted.
The new Ferrari F80 supercar, which will be released in a limited edition of 799 units, can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.15 seconds. It has a hybrid powertrain, including a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a cylinder bank angle of 120 degrees. The engine develops 900 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The powertrain also uses three electric motors - one located on the rear axle, and two on the front.
Ferrari borrowed the architecture of the hybrid system from its racing car Ferrari 499P, which recently won two victories in a row in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race. In addition to lightning-fast acceleration to 100 km/h, the Ferrari F80 accelerates to 200 km/h in 5.75 seconds, and its maximum speed is an impressive 350 km/h.
Italian engineers paid special attention to the aerodynamics of the new product. The Ferrari F80 is equipped with a powerful rear diffuser, an active rear wing, as well as a three-section front wing and an S-Duct air duct. All these elements at a speed of 250 km/h create more than a ton of downforce, providing excellent stability on the track.
