Updated EXEED VX crossover

The Exeed premium brand owned by Chery has introduced an updated VX crossover in China. The flagship was transformed externally and received a completely new interior with a "hyperscreen", decorated in the spirit of modern electric Mercedes.

EXEED has unveiled an updated EXEED VX crossover with a Mercedes-Benz-style interior.
We should immediately note that formally this Exeed VX is a new generation of the model known to us (at least, the manufacturer himself thinks so), but in fact we are talking about restyling.
And if the flagship looks almost unchanged, remaining true to its own corporate identity, then its interior is made literally from scratch. This is mainly indicated by a completely new front panel, the architecture and design of which was peeped at the electric Mercedes-Benz EQS with the Hyperscreen option. In fact, it is a huge screen panel in the entire width of the car, combining three displays at once (including a separate one for the front passenger) and ventilation deflectors.
Other innovations include a stylish two–spoke steering wheel with touch buttons, a steering lever for controlling the gearbox, remote controls for electric seats transferred to the doors and the seats themselves, which will become much more comfortable than the previous ones. In particular, on the first row they will get a vibration massage, on the second – ventilation, and on the "gallery" there will be a function of folding the backs.
It is planned to sell the restyled Exeed VX not only in a seven–seat, but also in a six-seat version - with two "captain" (separate) seats on the second row. The maximum acoustic comfort of all passengers will be provided by an active noise reduction system, which also appeared in the model for the first time.
The engine is the same: in China, the Exeed flagship has a 2.0-liter gasoline "turbocharger", producing 261 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The drive, as before, will be front or full, but the manufacturer has not yet told about the transmission. Some Chinese media expect to see a classic eight-speed "automatic" in place of the current seven-speed "robot".
The launch of sales of the updated Exeed VX in China is scheduled for April 8.
