The first pictures of the new Land Rover Defender SVX were taken at the beginning of last spring during tests at the Nurburgring. Now the test prototypes have been noticed in Sweden.
New SUVs were captured on board the car carrier. In the frame is the upcoming Defender SVX, which will be presented in 2024. Bowler specialists participated in the development of this car.
Starting this project, the developer wanted to bring to market a more hardcore SUV than the existing SUV. The test car in the spy pictures shows a more aggressive front part with a massive bumper. It is located closer to the ground and has a built-in protector in the center.
The front and rear tracks have become noticeably wider. And the wheel arches themselves have become larger. The rear overhang was also slightly retouched. A metal shield runs from the front to the doors of the first row. The SUV's suspension has new springs and shock absorbers with increased travel. The extreme Defender SVX with 20-inch alloy wheels is shod in special Goodrich 275/60 BF all-terrain tires. And the novelty got a titanium exhaust system.
In the market, the new Defender SVX will compete with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Ford Bronco Raptor. It is equipped with a 525-horsepower 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.
