Volkswagen has introduced the Polo GTI Edition 25 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Volkswagen Polo GTI. The car will be available in an amount of 2500 units, pre-orders will start in Germany from June 1 at a price of 35,205 euros.
Volkswagen has a rich heritage, and the Polo is one of our most iconic cars. GTI fans are very important to us, and our anniversary model is a way to celebrate this anniversary with them: to celebrate 25 years of power, performance, sportiness and driving pleasure in the Polo class.
Volkswagen Polo GTI Edition 25 received a 207-horsepower 2-liter TSI engine with a torque of 320 Nm, front-wheel drive and sports suspension. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 6.5 seconds.
The car is equipped with red brake calipers and decorative trims, chrome exhaust pipes, black side mirrors and roof, as well as 18-inch black discs. Inside there are premium sports seats upholstered in perforated black and red leather with embroidered GTI logos, as well as a glossy black decorative insert with red GTI lettering on the front panel.
