Hyundai has broken sales records in the US for the seventh month in a row: 81,503 cars were sold in April 2025, up 19% from a year ago. According to market experts, this is the best April in the brand's history.

The Tucson model became the leader with a 41% increase, followed by Elantra and Santa Fe. According to the company's report, Tucson was sold in the amount of 22,054 units, which is 41% more than the result of April 2024. Elantra sales reached 13,125 units, 30% more than a year earlier. Third place was taken by the Santa Fe crossover with 12,417 cars, an increase of 28%.

Hyundai representatives explained that the line of cars with alternative power plants attracted significant attention from buyers. Sales of hybrids increased by 46%, electric cars by 25%. At the same time, a slight decrease in interest in the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models was recorded - by 8% and 12%, respectively. The company noted that they expect the dynamics to recover with the release of the new Ioniq 9 electric crossover, which should soon go on sale.
